Potfolk (ツボ町人, Tsubo Chōnin) are clay-based organisms who take on a variety of appearances in Magical Vacation and Magical Starsign. They can be found almost everywhere across the Baklava Solar System, and two major potfolk settlements exist within it; one on Kovomaka and another on Razen.
Kovomaka's pots have a colony in the Abyssal Realm called Gazpacho Village, while Razen's pots live in the veiled town of Paella.
Physiology and types[]
Potfolk are born during the Starfall Festival, which is celebrated by the villagers of Paella every 200 years. Freshly-sculpted pots are placed under the raining stars, then they become sentient with a magical chant.
HP Pot[]
HP Pots (HPポット, HP Potto) gather rainwater that people can freely drink from to fully restore HP. In Magical Vacation, Pistachio finds three Green Frogs inside HP Pots if there are less than 20 in the player's inventory, but only once per drink. In Magical Starsign, Lassi's Wind Wild Magic makes sugarstars appear if used near an HP Pot.
MP Pot[]
MP Pots (MPポット, MP Potto) produce oil to restore the MP of those who drink it, but with an asking price of 1 Green Frog. In Magical Vacation, Kirsche finds two Yellow Worms inside MP Pots if there are less than 20 in the player's inventory, but only once per drink.
Terracotta Pot[]
Terracotta Pots (キヤコタのツボ, Kiyakota no Tsubo, Kiyakota Pots) are guardians of the Pyramid. To make them vanish, they must be fed Gummy Frogs in a specific order.
Clay Pot[]
Clay Pots (キヤメルカのツボ, Kiyameruka no Tsubo, Kiyameruka Pots) supervise Star Cavern Arko. If the protagonist walks in front of a Clay Pot with the Light Veil on-hand, a party member will be forcibly warped back to the Magic Bus. The only way to make Clay Pots disappear is by making the cavern's stars ascend.
Earthenware Pot[]
Earthenware Pots (キヤキスのツボ, Kiyakisu no Tsubo, Kiyakisu Pots) live in Drazzig Grotto. They take items from mortals in exchange for Abyssal Stones.
Porcelain Pot[]
Porcelain Pots (キヤシカゥ, Kiyashikau no Tsubo, Kiyashikau Pots) are roadblocks in Garam Masala. The only way to remove them is by sacrificing a certain number of Gummy Frogs.

Name origins[]
When the Japanese names of Terracotta, Clay, Earthenware, and Porcelain Pots are reversed, they spell the following:
- Kiyakota (キヤコタ) comes from "takoyaki" (たこ焼き), which is grilled ball-shaped batter filled with chunks of octopus.
- Kiyameruka (キヤメルカ) comes from "karumeyaki" (カルメ焼き), meaning honeycomb toffee.
- Kiyakisu (キヤキス) comes from "sukiyaki" (すき焼き). It is a dish consisting of beef, tofu, noodles, and sweet sauce.
- Kiyashikau (キヤシカゥ) comes from "kushiyaki" (串焼き), which is persimmons on skewers.
