Grenadine (グレナデン, Gurenaden) is a Dwarf with expert mechanical knowledge, and is the chief of Dwarven factories in the Baklava Solar System. He helps the characters of Magical Vacation and Magical Starsign by creating or upgrading parts for their transportation vehicles.

Grenadine is known to enjoy quizzes and riddles, and he tends to ramble or go on tangents when talking about nearly anything.
Appearance[]
Like most other Dwarves, Grenadine's body is covered his bushy beard, which is silver in color. The only parts of his body that can be seen are his nose and arms. His eyes are hidden under a green hardhat, equipped with curved horns on brown bases. For footwear, Grenadine wears a pair of grey shoes.

Magical Vacation[]
Grenadine debuts in Magical Vacation as the owner of Iko Domnag in the Light Realm's mountain ranges. Iko Domnag has been around for hundreds of years, and is where many high-class weapons are forged for war.
In the game, the students of Will-o'-Wisp are faced with a problem, wherein the Magic Bus will not be able to work without new parts of Latte and a Magic Power Generator. Balsamico suggests that the protagonist and their classmates take Latte up to Iko Domnag for an overhaul, then they can connect it to the Magic Bus and warp out of the Light Realm.
When the team meets up with Grenadine in Iko Domnag, he gives them a dreadfully long questionnaire to fully comprehend their goals. This opens up a chain of Yes and No questions, and if the player picks the wrong option at any point, Grenadine will start back at his first question. By answering all of them correctly, he wishes for the party to defeat his Tarter Terrier in order to test if they are worthy of entering the Dark Realm.
Winning against Tarter Terrier rewards the students by giving Latte upgrades and a Magic Power Generator. This upgrade only affects story progression and does not improve his performance in combat.
Account on Craaken[]
In Condimen Tower, Grenadine will speak of Craaken, the infamous author of The Book of the Darned:
"A long time ago, there was an archwizard named Craaken. He was a great man. You could almost call him the father of magic. And he predicted the death of the sun. He said the sun would die in the near future and be reborn soon thereafter. Craaken said further that when that happened, all creatures in this world would die, and everything would be born anew.
He said the light planet held the secret to the revival of the sun. So, Craaken went out of his way to make a device that could take him there. That would be the rocky stage you found at the base of the World Seam. But it won't even budge unless you exert some considerable magic."
